Vice President, Doug Norton
Doug Norton has a history of manufacturing
management, product design and process automation.
He has worked on projects for Atomic Energy of
Canada, Ontario Hydro, Canadian Armed Forces,
NASA, and Chrysler Corporation. He joined EWI in
1994 and has been intimately involved in all
application projects. From his initial work on the
tire pilot plant to design and supervision of the
MD1000 and the system designed for the USDA, Mr.
Norton has played an integral role in the
company's growth and development. He has a
Bachelor of Science degree, is a Certified
Engineering Manager, is the President of the
Toronto Section of ISA, Chairman of the Standards
and Practices Committee of the ISA, and is an
active member of the Society of Manufacturing
Engineers.
