Director of Technical Services - Mr.
Steve KantorSteve has been involved with
the development of the Microwave Reduction
technology since its inception in 1989 as the
associate for Dr. Charles Emery, the inventor. Steve
was originally involved with the design, operation
and testing of the original test and prototype
units, applied to both medical waste and tire
reduction which continued until 1992. Steve joined
Environmental Waste International Inc. in 1993 when
it was formed to further develop the Microwave
Reduction technology. Since that time Steve has been
involved in all aspects of the research and
development as well as the operations. This
experience included the design and operation of the
original pilot tire reduction facility at the Ajax
plant. Steve has also been involved in the design of
the next generation tire reduction facility. He
brings an intimate knowledge of the process and
plant design that cannot be matched on the
team. Steve's current responsibilities
includes the management of the USDA APHIS
sterilization project.
