MD-1000 Medical Waste Processor Ready For Shipment
April 18, 2000

EWMC International Inc. (“EWMC”) announced today that all preparatory work for shipment of its first MD-1000 is complete. CEO & President, Mr. Robert M. Bryniak reports that EWMC has an irrevocable Letter of Credit from EWT (International) Ltd and that the MD-1000 is ready for full operation at a commercial site. Mr. Bryniak stated that “The MD-1000 has performed exceptionally well in all in-house tests and trials conducted since January 2000, and we expect it to perform well once it’s commissioned”. Doug Norton, Vice President of Operations reports that “From a technical standpoint, the MD-1000 has never operated more efficiently and we are very excited to finally showcase our technology for the rest of the world to see.”

The MD-1000, initially targeted for operation in Glasgow Scotland, is now being shipped to Haverfordwest*, South Wales. This decision was made because the Haverfordwest* site is better suited for the treatment of the present waste contracts. “All planning permissions and licenses are in place and the site work has been completed.” commented Mr. Patrick Noone, Senior Partner of EWT (International) Ltd, which has purchased the first unit. Mr. Noone went on to say that they are looking forward to seeing the MD-1000 in full commercial operation. “We have a number of clients that are anxiously waiting to see this unit in operation and we’re confident that performance expectations will be more than met”.

The State Group Limited, a Bracknell Company, will be responsible for ensuring that the unit is properly dismantled and re-assembled at the Haverfordwest* site. “We’re excited about the project and see this as an opportunity to witness the operation of a great Canadian technology designed to solve environmental problems on a global basis. And we’ll be there to lend our technical support, as needed.” says Mr. Marc Dumont, Vice-President, Industrial Operations. The MD-1000 Medical Waste Processor is expected to arrive in Haverfordwest by May 31st, 2000, with the system in full operation by June 30th, 2000.
