Emerging Applications

OVERVIEW

EWI has successfully demonstrated systems for the treatment of tires, wastewater, medical waste, animal waste, and food waste dehydration/sterilization. EWI continues to actively market these applications, however, EWI believes that these applications are only the beginning. EWI continues to embark on research and development of new applications for the EWI Reverse Polymerization technology.

EWI is confident that there are many other waste materials that have the potential to provide new, profitable business lines for the company. Some of these include:

  1. Oil Shale
  2. Soil Remediation
  3. Oil from coal
  4. Waste plastic
Tire section treated for 20 minutes
at a magnetron power of 1.2kW.

Other value added processes, such as drying and the production of new carbon-based materials, will also be investigated.

EWI's product development process, R&D plans and the state of the art test facility show a clear direction for R&D in the company's future.
